Infants and Toddlers

Infants

Children ages 6 weeks and older are cared for in a nurturing environment that supports their emerging physical and social development. Babies at Kids Kastle enjoy a playful atmosphere enhanced by tactile toys, mobiles, music and lots of TLC. Each infant is cared for on an "on demand" schedule for sleeping, feeding and diaper changing.

Parent communication is essential to providing quality infant care, and we have provided a daily information sheet for your infant. Every morning we ask that you inform us of any special needs for the day. At pick-up time, you will receive a complete report of your baby's care, including a sleeping, eating, diapering and activity summary.

Our infant rooms are designed to keep the classroom environment quiet and relaxing, limited to a maximum 8 babies at one time. Our infant rooms are "shoeless" environments to promote a clean and sanitary classroom at all times.

Toddlers

Toddlers are strong on their feet, independent, hands on and curious! They thrive on new experiences and need a safe environment that supports their cognitive and physical development. Our Toddler classrooms are arranged to offer a variety of structured activities that are designed to encourage the development of children's fine and gross motor skills, listening skills, speaking skills, and hand-eye coordination.

Two Year Olds

As your child reaches twenty-four months, he or she will transition into our Early Preschool Program, designed especially for two year olds. We spark your two year old's sense of discovery through activities like reading books aloud, including nursery rhymes and finger play songs to expand your child's language skills.

Additional activities include hands on arts and crafts, recognizing shapes and colors, role playing in dramatic play and practicing self-help skills like toilet training and dressing themselves.
